Abstract
This study aims to determine the role of parents in encouraging elementary school children's learning motivation. This study used a survey method with samples of parents and elementary school children. The results of the study indicate that the role of parents in encouraging children's learning motivation is very important, especially in terms of providing emotional support, monitoring learning progress, and creating a conducive learning environment. Parents who are actively involved in their children's education can increase children's learning motivation and help children achieve better academic achievement.
